This is my small group spot!
This is our meeting area spot in the front of the room. We meet here for mini-lessons and read alouds.
In the meeting area, you will find our CAFE board.
You will also find the behavior management system. For negative consequences I use a clip chart. For positive consequences I use Whole Brain Teachings Super Improver idea.
This is my whiteboard and another whole group meeting area spot, depending on the lesson.
One of the favorite spots in my classroom is above the whiteboard. On the first day of school students create a self portrait that I frame and hang.
This is our listening area. I also use this bulletin board to display daily objectives, common procedure and best of all, our cheers!
The math focus wall! Students reference this almost daily!
Student cubbies and our Peace Wall (Another one of my favorite spots!)
This is the calming station! Here you will find the calming kit students can use to calm down if they are struggling a bit.
Data drives all of my instruction, so our data wall is so important.
This is where students turn in all of their work. There is also a spot for extra unused papers and a box for lost pieces.
This is our Science/Social Studies Station, located in the back of the room.
This is a table in the back of the room students utilize during centers.
Look at you, Miss Blogger! You're room looks wonderful and welcoming. I knew you'd be a pro in no time!
ReplyDeleteAll thanks to you! :) I honestly think of you all the time when lesson planning. I ask myself, how would Mattie connect this skill/topic to real life learning!
