My name is Laura Bristol. I am a second grade teacher in Arizona. This is my third year teaching second grade, and I absolutely love it!
I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan where I enjoyed playing ice hockey and tennis. After graduating from high school, I ventured out West for college. I attended Arizona State University and earned a degree in Elementary Education graduating Summa Cum Laude. The summer after graduation, I began teaching second grade.
My passion is working with children and teaching academic and life skills. When not teaching, I love to create common-core aligned lesson plans and activities, do yoga, play tennis and read.
I am new to the blog world, but am excited to begin this new adventure!
